About Community Church

We have been mandated by Jesus to "make disciples out of all persons, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit". One of the questions that every ministry must ask is "what kind of disciple does God want us to make?" The following are qualities we believe that God wants disciples to possess here at Community Church:

Worshipper
Word Centered
Giver
Loving
Compassionate
Obedient
Prayerful
Faithful
Committed
Servant
Humble
Witness

We have summarized all of these qualities into three areas:
Love for God, Love for Others, and Love for Ministry.

We believe that when people decide to connect with this ministry, their point of entry is worship. It is in worship where people should experience the presence of God through the worship experience. In worship, we want persons to know what it means to have a Love for God as one of His disciples.

Love for Others is where people move from their worship experience to connecting to the body through study, and fellowship. We encourage all new members to become engaged beyond Sunday morning. Connecting through study and fellowship are important. There are opportunities through our Sunday School, Wednesday morning and night bible study, and special weekend events. One can only grow through the study of God's word and through the fellowship with other believers. We are a relational church and it is important that you build relationships as you build your faith. (See times of worship and study).

Love for Ministry involves serving within and beyond the four walls of Community Church. It is important that members understand that our Love for God and our Love for Others, pours out into Love for Ministry. The Bible states that "to whom much is given, much is required". Our ultimate goal is to expand the kingdom of God. How do we do this? - through service and ministry.
