Welcome to Community Church online giving option that allows you to give electronically by Credit/Debit Card or Check. When your card or check information is entered online your bank will electronically transfer your contributions to Community Church. Online giving is a fast, secure and convenient way to give to Community and we would like to offer you every opportunity to support the ministry. Thank you for your continued support.
1. What is Online/E-Giving?
Online or E-Giving is optional and offers another method to give to Community. The donor can choose to give from their checking or savings account or through credit card. Donors can also choose the amount and frequency of their gifts and contributions.
2. What are the advantages of Online Giving?
The biggest advantage is convenience. A contribution or donation can be made at anytime or a donor can set up recurring donations. For Community, online giving helps to ensure that those who desire to support the ministry can do so without limitation.
3. How often will funds be withdrawn from my account?
Funds will only be withdrawn on your directive. A donor may elect to do repeated one time donations or set up recurring donations based on various available intervals. If you wish to receive assistance in establishing recurring donations please see the finance office.
4. Can contributions be directed to specific funds?
YES! The donations page offers a variety of choices. Occasionally, when Community holds special events, the donation site will be updated to accommodate those events.
5. What record will I have of my contributions?
There are several options. You will be able to print a record each time a contribution is made. Also, the monthly statement you receive from your financial institution will include a record of your giving. Finally, you will have the option to view your giving history at any time.
6. How will Community know that I made a contribution?
Vanco Services will provide a variety of detailed reports to Community informing us of contributors and their contributions. Also, community will maintain our usual records to ensure your giving statements are accurate.
7. Are there any fees for online giving?
There are administrative costs to Community for the merchant services. You, the donor can elect to help offset these fees by checking the box on any of your transactions. THIS IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL.
8. What will I receive credit for on my giving statement?
There is absolutely no cost to you. As such, donors will receive full credit for their contributions, which remain tax deductible by law.
9. How can I make changes or adjustments to my E-Giving account?
Your online giving account is for your convenience and therefore allows you to make a variety of changes. Please see the Community finance office if you experience any difficulties.
10. How long will it take for funds to leave my account?
Funds are drafted on the date you select, even if you choose to opt for recurring donations. However, if you would like to receive credit on your giving statement for the coming Sunday, it is best to process the contribution by Thursday each week.
