Community Church partners with Safehouse, an urban outreach in Atlanta (GA) to impact the lives of individuals who are in need of a "hand-up". The physical and spiritual needs are met through its feeding program and monthly service at SafeHouse's headquarters on Ellis St. We meet the third Sunday every month (Downtown Atlanta).

Community Block Party

Community Church's annual Block Party is our big summertime community fellowship and outreach event. There are games, food and lots of activities for the whole family. Information and resources on various topics such as health, wellness and parenting are also available. Through our partnership with Church on the Street, our community Block Party is also a mission site for volunteers.

Vacation Bible School

The vacation bible school is a week of fun activities, teaching Christian principles for children, teens and adults in and around our community. Students learn about God and His plan for their lives in a fun filled atmosphere of age appropriate games, activities and lessons.

Nursing Home Visitation
Annie B. Dixon Respite Care

The mission of Annie B. Dixon Respite Care is to provide a respite care program for seniors and older adults where they can engage in a safe, caring and structured environment that will provide worship, exercise, social interaction and mental stimulation.

New Members Orientation
Are you new to Community Church? Perhaps you have been dating us for sometime but would like to settle down and get to know us better. Our New Member Orientation classes will help you to do just that. The classes are one day sessions discussing a number of topics including, who we are, what we believe, our "Blue Print" for spiritual growth and development, and our campus. All classes are held in the VICARS building.
