Welcome to our web site! We are Community Church, a thriving ministry located in southwest Atlanta’s Cascade corridor. Known as the “gateway to the Cascades,” we are a church seeking to know Christ and to make Him known. For the love of Christ and the love of this ministry, members travel from nearly a dozen counties in metropolitan Atlanta. Why are so many willing to come so far? As one member put it, “It’s worth the drive!” And indeed it is. Community is a church for real people: imperfect, but striving to higher heights and deeper depths in Christ. Under the inspirational leadership of senior pastor Michael A. Smith, we are a worshipping, witnessing body of believers who are working towards the vision of changing the spiritual, social and intellectual fabric of our urban setting.
